My very best friend (other than my wife) resigned from my where I work today. She and I have been close for a long time (10 plus years). I'm pretty bummed out about it. We are both senior Managers at our site, and I think it is pretty rare to have a deep non sexual friendship like we have. Her departure was not unexpected. Sometimes it is time to go. And this was her time.

I know there are a lot of bad things in life, so this is just a bump in the road in the big scheme. But I'm still bummed.

Anyway, work is going to be different.
