1. My basement is flooded, and the plumber won't be here until 3:30 to get the tree roots out of the pipes. I can't take a shower, wash dishes, etc. until that happens, and I'm grouchy about it!

2. I did, however, make it through Walmart today without my four-year old screaming through it, which happened last time. Maybe someone *does* like me.

3. I had a very nice IM conversation this morning with a friend, in which I realized that, once again, it's been proven to me that, no matter how different you feel your thoughts and opinions might be on the important things, there's always someone out there who agrees with you and is willing to listen. And, on top of that, she's a pretty neat person, too.
