Yet another anal sex question
yes I know some people will say, use the search function, but I tell ya theres SO much information that comes up on anal sex that I'd need a search function inside of the search function just to sort though it all lol
Alrighty, so me and my girlfriend are dieing to try anal sex, yes yes we know the basics wamr up to it use lube and all that jazz but the main problem we are having is lube, as in the CLOSEST sex store that sells lube products that we know of is upwards of an hour-2 hours away, a long way to travel for a bottle of lube lol, and while we are both eager to try this it has been a rather pain in the ass (damn that was a good pun) getting lube, so my quesiton I pose, is there any good common things that can be used as a good lubricant, something that might be found around the house or able to be acquired at a normal shop Thanx in advance |
ok.... Here in Australia at least, lube is quite common - you can buy it in supermarkets and 7/11 convenience stores! Just look for where they sell condoms.
As for around the house lubes, vaseline or similar kind of petroleum jelly should be fine. It's oil based, so DEFINITELY not recommended if you're wearing a condom (oil destroys the condom) and not a good idea to use it vaginally (some people have reported vaginal infections, apparently). But yeah, that's what I'd do. DO NOT, repeat do NOT try and rely on spit! Stupid porn movies! lol :) Good luck, and let us know how it goes! CasperTG |

Welcome to Pixies Concubine.:) I'm happy to say that we HAVE a search function inside of our new search function, (our new home for less than a week). I'm sure you will find tons of info as well as meet a lot of nice and knowledgeable folks as you read around. |
If you live stateside, try WalMart, or another discount store. Most sell Astroglide or KY Jelly. Just a hint (from another pixie who is sex-shopless AND trying out anal :P)

Huh???? |
Search in a search???
|
You can get Astroglide at any drug or discount store. Same holds true for KY jelly. They are right next to the condoms.
|
well what do ya know, I never even thought to look by the condoms and that, we don't use them so it's never really came up, thanx for yer helps people, although I've heard bad things about KY , I've heard nothing but good about astroglide so mayhaps we'll try that, anyone have a rough idea about how much a bottle runs?
|
It's a bit on the expensive side. My wife and I used to just use KY jelly it's really not that bad the main problem with it being it dries out too fast.
You really should think about using a comdom for anal sex, unless you have a thing for getting urinary tract infections. There are also many many sites on the internet that sell more brands of lube than any couple could ever use. |
Okay I want to start out by saying this isn’t a marketing thing. I sell medical supplies to physicians and have a couple of cases of ky jelly laying around. They are 4oz tubes. I am not looking to make a profit of this. So msg me and I will shoot you a price. I can ship the items US mail any where in the world.

I need lube so badly
Friends,
I am in Pakistan and all that kind of stuff (lubes and toys) is banned and not available on the stores. i want to have some ky jelly or some good water based lube. i cant purchase it from internet because i also dont have a credit card. i can send some money vis other forms to you if you help me out to send the water based lube via mail. i will wait for you replies... :grope: Doctor_sex [email protected] |
I find that hard to believe that lube would be outlawed. How the hell would doctors do vaginal or prostate exams without lube?
|
We use Vaseline--it has staying power, and keeps me comfy and happy. But keep it away from the vagina, and condoms, as has been mentioned above.
|
Dude there are plenty around the home. All one has to do is look.
Ok. I know this may sound as stupid as your question but do you have any margarine or butter in the fridge? If so, presto, lube!!!!!! I know it sounds funny but sometimes the most obvious things are over shadowed by stupidity.
Marg or butter is oil based, but not commercial oil that is used in oils. (eg engine oil) You can even use cooking oil as that is similar to what they put in the marg/butter.Just remember one thing though. If you do use cooking oil, it runs very quickly, so put some in a glass or water squirter to direct it to the area a bit easier. Hope it helps |
Mineral oil dear.
