Not The Weathermen obviously. Though any of the former members of The Weathermen could have ironically become weathermen after rejoining the society they had claimed to so despise. But I have no proof or knowledge of that.

Actually it isn't bad in Seattle today for a change. It is about 45 with a few spots of sun every now and then. Compared to what we just went through - any day with dry streets is fine with me!

Looks like winter is back for a few days........it's 28(dropped from 30 since I got up) got a rain /snow mix.....looks very slick out, course the child found out first hand.

Mid TN had a January so mild, the daffidils & my wife's daylilies thought it was spring & bloomed...now the Mid-South has just had a pretty good snowstorm (by southern standards), except for the greater Nashville area...just a light dusting of snow on the ground...

30 Degrees under partly cloudy skies. Cool, but not bad for this time of year around here. Had a couple of inches of snow today, but already, most has melted.

Cold and Snow. I woke at about 3am and there was about 2" of snow on the ground - now 4 hours later, there is closer to 8" on the ground with no end in sight. The news is reporting this shouldn't slow until late afternoon.

It snowed all night, and is still snowing. First real snowfall of the season, if you can believe it.

I just got the yardstick out and ventured outside. It's COLD (20F, add in windchill and it's closer to 6F), SNOWING, and WINDY (13 mph, with gusts to 30 mph). The official measure at my house is 16" on the back patio and about 15" on the front drive and it's just not stopping. Once again the weathermen were wrong - they estimated 8-12" - just usually they are wrong in the other direction. We actually reached BLIZZARD conditions in Connecticut.

My heart goes out to all those on the East Coast with all that snow. It is winter after all!

About 50 with a little cloud cover which will burn off by early afternoon. I think I'll get out the lawnmower and make the kids mulch up all the twigs that are in the yard after the last windstorm.
