Back to seasonal January temperatures. Currently 30F/-1C, supposed to be partly cloudy today, with little or no chance of precipitation. Relative humidity 66%, with a high of 41F/5C.

35F right now (4:25AM) with clear skies getting up to 50F today with mostly cloudy skies. Not bad for Illinois near the end of January.

Weather is all over the place: 31F/-1C right now, with a forecast high of 49F/9.4C, 69% relative humidity, no precipitation expected, mostly sunny; tomorrow, even warmer at a forecast high of 58F/14.4C.

48F under mostly cloudy skies at 2:50AM. That is also our anticipated high today although the skies are suppose to get sunny. Still, not by for late January in Illinois. :)

So far today is as predicted: currently 49F/9.4C, lots of sun, no rain.

The cool down seems to have started. 33F right now with mostly clear skies going up to 42F under mostly cloudy skies. Guess we'd better enjoy it though, it'll get colder tomorrow. :(

29F and partly cloudy at 1AM. It's only suppose to get up to 31F today but with sunny skies. Still ... wish it was warmer. :(

Mostly cloudy, with the current temperature at 44F/6.7C. Only 10% chance of rain following yesterdays, 66% relative humidity, and a forecast high of 46F/7.8C.

31F/-1C right now, with only a 20% chance of precip reported-but there's a very thin layer of snow on the ground. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a forecast high of 34F/1.1C.

29F and partly cloudy going up to 45F and cloudy later. Not a bad day at all. The ones following it, though, look like they're going to drop back down for several days. :(

33F right now and that'll also be the high for the day. We will get sunny skies and that's always nice especially on colder days. Boy, will I be glad when spring gets here.

(I know , we're only half way through ... arg ... winter. :(

Going from 30F now up to 34F today with cloudy skies. This is getting old. :(

I haven't actually looked out yet, but when my wife came to bed around 11PM last night she estimated we had about 4 or 5" of snow on the ground. Sounds like I may have to shovel this morning. :(

It's 3F right now getting up to 19F today. No more snow predicted although when it's that cold, it seems like you can see a few flurries every now and then. It will be cloudy, I guess. :shrug:

30F now getting up to 32F later with cloudy skies. At one point there's about a 50% chance of snow showers, but we'll see. I hope not. I'm about snowed out for this winter. :)

61F with light rain right now. Did I say 61F! Gadzooks!! Be even better if that wasn't predicted to be the high for today! Looks like a rain day, too. Oh well. The grass, trees, geese and fish will love it. I'll like the temps if they stay up there during the day.

Three days ago, 2"+ of snow & slush. Today, high temperature predicted to be 73F/22.8C.

Again, I say:

28F now (1AM) with cloudy skies. Only getting up to 35F with mostly cloudy skies. What a contrast with yesterday when it was rainy but with highs getting up to well into the 60s!

30F and mostly cloudy now (5:17AM) and only getting up to 39F today also with cloudy skies. The good news is that Spring is only a month away. Pretty high probability of icy conditions this morning although when I looked out, it didn't look like we had received much YET. Hopefully, it'll pass us by. Yesterday was enough.

41F now going up to only 43F today .... but, it's a small move in the right direction. Looks like we'll mainly be in the 40's and 50's for the next week with only one chance of rain. That'll be a welcome relief. Ground is really soaked. Oh, yeah, our cloudy skies will still be here today. Been nice to have had the sun shining.
