Just gorgeous and 62 here. That's my kind of Christmas!

I think we got between 5 and 6" of snow yesterday and last night while our son that lives in Peoria said they had about 8" on the ground where he lives. That's a lot of snow.

Lord Snow 12-25-2010 04:30 PM

It snowed last night, it's snowing again. I have a pseudo white Christmas this year. I still see green on the ground.

Pita 12-25-2010 05:18 PM

We gonna get some snow!!

Because I will it so.

J/K, but it would be cool if I could do that.

dicksbro 12-26-2010 04:00 AM

Well, it's 27F with light snow right now (3AM) and it's suppose to flurry or have light snow showers today and tomorrow ... then by Thursday cross the freezing point. Actually, even at 27F, we'd probably see some melting or evaporation.

Lilith 12-26-2010 09:41 AM

37 here and not going to get much warmer

You rock! :x:

I'm sitting here looking out my window at about three inches of snow and it's still falling. I got sent home early from work because we are so slow. Yayyyy to me!! :line:

GusAspar 12-26-2010 11:30 AM

It's been freezing in London for about a month now, and no sign of it warming up. No sign of snow tonight. :xmas:

gekkogecko 12-26-2010 12:27 PM

Supposed to have snowed here overnight, but there's been nothin'. The forecast for an eventual 3"-5" (7.6cm to 12.7 cm) has been down \graded to maybe about 1" (2.5cm).

Lilith 12-26-2010 01:05 PM

We had flurries here!!!!!!

I do my best. LOL.

We haven't had any fresh snow so it was a dirty white Christmas.

Lord Snow 12-26-2010 11:46 PM

Shame it's not just a dirty Christmas huh? LOL.

dicksbro 01-04-2011 08:16 AM

Our snow is all gone for now (except for a couple of parking lot piles of dirty snow. Seasonably cold, but no snow.

It's very similar here.

Lord Snow 01-04-2011 04:42 PM

It's getting warmer during the day, and staying really cold at night. Not sure if this trend will continue.

dicksbro 01-06-2011 04:47 AM

Dark  It's not even 4AM yet. :)

Oldfart 01-06-2011 05:46 AM

Happens that way here too.

Lord Snow 01-06-2011 04:44 PM

Currently it's partial light turning to dark quickly. Just goes to prove that the southern United States is backwards. LOL.

gekkogecko 01-08-2011 01:46 PM

About 2, maybe 2.5cm (slightly less to a full inch, if you're metric-impaired) of snow overnight. Nothin' to worry about.

Lord Snow 01-08-2011 04:00 PM

It was snowing this morning, but stopped before 12 pm.

dicksbro 01-09-2011 03:41 AM

Dark again. Seems like we get that part of every day ... in the early morning and again at night. Darn, seems like I always sleep through a lot of it.

Oldfart 01-09-2011 05:56 AM

It's a plot.

Lord Snow 01-09-2011 11:25 AM

I'd rather sleep through the light. It's awfully bright....but then again riding in the dark means you eat a lot of bugs and they tend to be a bit bitter.......six of one, half dozen of the other?

Oldfart 01-09-2011 06:14 PM

I rode with a jet style helmet and a full-face yellow perspex shield. Before full-face helmets were more than a curiosity.

Pita 01-09-2011 07:14 PM

Cloudy with some snow showers this evening. A steady snow likely after midnight. Low 27F. Winds ENE at 10 to 20 mph. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches.

And I get to get up and be at work at 5:30am. Someone better show up for a freaking latte, or I'm going to be :pissed:

Lord Snow 01-09-2011 08:48 PM

TT, if you weren't so far out of my way to work I'd stop in for a freaking latte. I have to be to work for 6:30 tomorrow morning and we're supposedly getting up to 6 inches tonight. I doubt we will, but you never know.

gekkogecko 01-10-2011 10:24 AM

Snowstorm coming. Supposedly an "impactful" storm, but right now, they're not calling for more than an inch. Some impact.

Pita 01-10-2011 11:33 AM

Yayyy for me that we got so much snow, my boss decided not to open this morning, so I went back to bed! Right now we have freezing rain and I'm concerned about what tomorrow morning will be like and if I will have to go to work. We'll see.

Coaster 01-10-2011 12:03 PM

Blue sky Monday..... yet chilly at 24

dicksbro 01-10-2011 01:23 PM

We're in the twenties under cloudy skies right now with snow expected to begin this afternoon and continue over the next couple of days. Possibly as much as 6" by tomorrow afternoon ... although I never totally trust their forecasts.

Lord Snow 01-10-2011 04:33 PM

It snowed, the plow trucks hadn't gotten anything done yet when I left for work. It sucked.

gekkogecko 01-11-2011 11:48 AM

No sign of the impending snow here yet. Well, maybe it will eventually.

Lord Snow 01-11-2011 04:33 PM

It's snowing again.

dicksbro 01-12-2011 06:19 AM

We got about 5" and since that ended, we've been getting flurries almost constantly. Not much accumulation, but just some white specks drifting down and blowing around.

gekkogecko 01-12-2011 11:46 AM

Only about 5cm here. Wasn't horrible to deal with at all. Next few days, high temperatures above freezing, no more snow. So what little there is will go away real soon.

Lord Snow 01-12-2011 04:50 PM

It flurried some more this morning, but didn't stick. Now it's just cold.

PantyFanatic 01-12-2011 11:52 PM

Suppose to get another 3-5" (7-12cm) by morning on top of the 8" (20cm) on the ground now with wind chill of -2F (-19C). But it is January so there's going to be some winter.
