A tad bit on the chilly side here this morning. Right now it's 11F and sort of overcast. We're supposed to get about 3-4" of new snow and then a little bit of the icy stuff later on this afternoon and this evening. And of course the temp is only going to reach the low 20s. :(

We are supposed to get 3-5 inches of snow starting this afternoon thru this evening.... and of course, Cobalt's work holiday party is tonight....

We are also forecasted to get more snow this coming week on Tuesday and Thursday. I have to admit - our weatherman has been right on target.

From 6PM tonight through tomorrow, they're predicting freezing rain here. Hope they're wrong. I don't mind the snow, but the ice is horrible. :(

Also predicting some wintry mix this coming week here as well. I guess it is about that time of year.

Right now it's 21F with light freezing rain. :( Expected to get heavier tonight and dimish to freezing drizzle tomorrow. 21F is also expected to be tonights low and the highs tomorrow will be in the low to mid-30s. Doesn't sound real good if you ask me. I'm ready for spring.

24F under cloudy skies right now ... they're still predicting freezing rain for the day with the high only expected to reach 29F.

26F with rain/freezing rain almost an 1inch so far with another 1 1/2inch predicted thru tomorrow ,lots of trees down for firewood

28F a little bit ago with freezing rain starting a little later this evening and continuing through tomorrow. We're at the northern edge of the threat so I'm hoping the worst of it will miss us. They are, however, calling for "significant" accumulations ... whatever that means.

I'm sending warm thoughts to all my freezing Pixie friends. We were in the high 70's today so I have lots of warmth to share.

It's 20F right now and I'm waiting for the freezing rain and snow to begin. Supposedly the worst of the ice is going to be just south of me. Then again, it's only supposed to be 1 county south (about 15 miles) so I wouldn't be incredibly shocked if we get hit with mostly ice. :(

The forecast was a bit off. Not a single flake of snow here overnight. :loveshowe:

Then again, there's a pretty nice layer of ice on everything and they're saying we should get about another inch of the stuff by tonight. :banghead:

At least the power is still on............ I shouldn't jinx myself should I. :(

Its 36 and maybe a chance of light snow. Tomarrow is suppose to be sunny. Haven't seen the sun for awhile, don't remember what it looks like.

Its 30, had a light snow and will prolly get a little more light snow.

It's 15F right now and the snow is lightly falling. Big, fluffy flakes are coming down at the moment, it's sort of pretty. We're only supposed to get two or three inches of it so I guess it's not that terribly bad.

We got 24 and a very fine light snow which looks like it is making it slippery out.

Freezing rain & sleet beginning this afternoon & into the evening. Breezy with lows in the lower 30s.

It's about 19F here right now and the snow seems to be tapering off. I measured 2.5" of the white stuff.

And no, I don't mean Little IowaMan when I say, "the white stuff." I'm afraid to check him, after being outside in this cold, the poor guy just might be two and a half inches himself. :yikes:

So far it's just cold and rainrainrainrain all the time...not complaining, but where the hell was all this rain back in the summer when we could've really used it?

Still a little light snow but it's about over with I think.

Just shoved our sidewalk and driveway and I think we ended up with maybe 7" +/- an inch or so. Started out they were expecting a 2-4" snowfall. The past few weeks we've hardly gotten beyond the 20s but now that we have the makings of a white Christmas ... they expect it to get up to 40F for several days later this coming week. Illinois can't even get it's white Christmas' right. :mad:

Its 28 and we gots lots of snow. My car is burried and the snow shovels are still in the shed.

Yeah, in the 20's here and I just shoveled about 4"... supposed to end up with 9-12".... oh get your mind outta the gutter sodak!!! :D

I've been VERY, VERY quiet on this thread,:doorpeek: and I wasn't hunting wabbit. I've had my fingers crossed and been knocking on wood the past couple weeks. The storms have been dancing all around me, sometime only missing by 20 miles.

It's over. :banghead: Today Cleveland and Buffalo played football here.......... wearing snowshoes. :sad: The blizzard's here with whiteouts and single digit wind chills.
