for example you know me by now, i am 100% Chinese but was born in Vietnam, now live in Canada.

so can you tell me a bit about yourself like the way I just said above?

I am Canadian born in Newfoundland. Mother's side were Newfoundlanders from Irish parents. Fathers side were Canadian from English and Welsh parents. Thus why I have so many conflicts within myself!! LOL :D Father's side of family originally settled in Pennsylvania then left for Upper Canada and were United Empire Loyalist.

I'm as English as can be. My Mother's from Yorkshire and my Father's from. . . . a bit further south, which is where I still live!

I did defect to Wales for a few years which was great and I spent a lot of time in France as a child, so that feels like my second home.

Ah hell, I'm just trying to make myself sound a bit more interesting now!

I am a Long Island boy.
Which means more than likely you call the "Old Country" Brooklyn.
Yes! Brooklyn is it's own Nation altought alot of people don't realize it.
Being the 3rd generation in the States I am really American...( 3/4 Neapolitan & 1/4 Portuguese contents from the most recent country of origin) 100% Suburban.

But think of this Ms.Pussy...every one's ancestors came from somewhere before they got to where they are right? So at what point are they of that place?

Three fourths Swedish, one fourth Norwegian; all my grandparents emigrated from Sweden or Norway after 1900. Grew up 20 miles from the Wisconsin border in Illinois but spent most of my adult life in Wisconsin. (Am not there now and sure do miss it.)
