Don't know if I'd call it "fear" or "phobia" but I definitely don't rank spiders or snakes on my favorite creatures list. :)

A poem for the ladies:
Bozo made clowns fun to love
but you wondered why he wore white gloves
Bundy brought clowns down to size
Hacking girls, lovers and wives
Lets not forget Pennywise
Under the sewer grates there are clown eyes.
Hope this comforts you ladies.

I don't think I have a phobia . . . is that normal? B/F is terrified of spiders, too, though . . . is being afaid you'll leave the house without your cigarettes a phobia? Nah, probably more a wicked addiction! ;)

Toomanyconnectionsatpixiesplacephobia!!!!!!:D :D
Coulrophobia is the fear of clowns... fyi... I don't have it, but I don't trust 'em none much either!
When I was little I used to lift my feet up over any crack I saw in the street when riding the school bus. I don't really know why, unless it stemmed from the old step on a crack rhyme.

LOL Diva...my biggest fear? Acrophobia - the fear of heights...got free tix to the football game...up in the "nosebleed" section...once I sat down I could not move, clap, cheer, or do anything...except - stay - glued - to - my - seat - focus - on - the - field - don't look - at - anything - that - reminds - me - of - how - high - up - I - am...

I used to have a neighbor growing up that would go get the evening paper in his thin, pale blue, boxers; a ribbed white tank tee; dress socks; and dress shoes! I have this phobia that I will do that in my old age senility and it scares me sh$$tless.

Aqua....you used to lift your foot up over the cracks in the sidewalk because deep down inside your sweet child brain, you KNEW there were CLOWNS living in those cracks.
*shiver*
*shimmy*
I have a whole folder FULL of clown websites....I like to keep track so I ALWAYS know where they are and what they're doing. Don't want those little fuckers to get the upper hand, ya know?

I would have said 'claustrophobia', but then my sex-life might disappear (no more tight spaces!), so i guess i'll stick with achluophobia - fear of darkness. way too many horror novels and shows!
i guess we might have some 'monk' fans here, then? :D

Well in all my posts recently I just seem to be showing everyone how neurotic and weird I am (posting about forgetting to eat meals, being scared of lame horror flicks and having a plant for a pet etc) so I may as well go the whole hog and post this too:
Heights, bridges, spiders, clowns (so glad I'm not alone on that one!) and public places.
OK so that last one isn't a fully fledged phobia because I keep it under control but if I didn't I'd never go out anywhere - for a while when I was with my ex I got to the stage where I wouldn't even walk down to the corner shop on my own, and preferably I'd get him to go and I'd stay in the house.

I'm the guy that can climb 500' radio towers, explore tight dark caves alone, make clowns cry, had a tarantula as a pet, stepped on EVERY crack in the sidewalk, and love skinnydipping in the river...so what am I afraid of? Loosing my ISP again....and again...and again....would that be lackapixiesaphobia?

hey, clown-haters ... had a clown come into the office yesterday for an anniversary celebration ... thought for sure he was going to honk-honk my co-workers honkers. He was displaying some definate boundary problems. We all hid in the front office until he was gone ... were looking to see what car he drove up in. We were thinking a Mercedes, because for some reason those guys make tons of money doing their thing.
and Nikki, me too on the wide open spaces one!

Spiders......and that awful feeling you get when you're in a huge seething mass of absolute strangers all trying to go in opposite directions at something like a concert or football game. I hate that....once I'm in my seat I'm alright but getting there, I'm a wreck.
