Really cool Sharni! I wish you fun and a healthy outcome!

They are opening a "Curves" on a route I take home from work...and I'm feeling compelled to join up as well!

Here's to fitness! :wine:

Oops! Maybe I should hold off on the wine till I have something to celebrate...lol!

((((Sharni)))) ~ Good luck and stick with it! Your *real* prize is better health, more energy, and all those endorphins running thru your system (which should make for some damn good orgasms).

I am back on track as well...so if you need someone to bitch about those groaning muscles to, I'll be here. :D

Winter is fast approching. My sailing, hiking, jogging, and walking will soon be limited - I don't go outside when it is -25c or lower. I go swimming three times a week during the winter. Beside the pool is a streching area that I use. I have not done weights since high school. I have bought a pair of cross country skies that I hope to use this winter! Again then temp rule might happer that.

Raises a glass to all those that have sore mussles due to working out.

Actually I gave up running in the winter because I would just get into a good pace and then along comes a Polar Bear and tries to race me. Every time. I'm not sure if you have ever raced a polar bear, but they are very competitive. They took all the fun out of jogging.

Yeah, but those drop bears are very dangerous..

And lets not talk about the Clockwise Wonka Dogs!

I’m not sure this is going to work for you Sharni. It’s starting to sound like your gym isn’t even going to have the BIG swimming pool with the ice burgs and polar bears. I just don’t know how you expect to get a good workout without incentive.

cbass ~ Thanx

LOL@drop bears..

PF ~ This gym doesnt have a pool at all

nikki ~ I'm sure i will enjoy it...once i get into it *LOL* I need to lose LOTS of kilos..but it'll happen just gonna take some time is all

But i try not to take notice of weight as muscles weighs more than fat so you can actually put on weight (by the scales)....i do it by my measurements

If by chance you aren’t pleased with your first day at your gym Sharni, I’ll give you the name of the one that has a 100% Guaranteed Insensitive Program that worked and got me trimmed down.

I went with skepticism to my first session. As soon as I got there I was direct to the door to the indoor track. Inside was a 200m, oval track and one other unmarked door. It opened and out came a naked playboy model with a sign that said “If you can catch me, you can FUCK me!” :jump: I was in such bad shape I couldn’t catch her :( and after a week of frustration, I complained that their 100% Guaranteed Insensitive Program wasn’t working. I was told they would start me on the 100% SUPER Guaranteed Insensitive Program that was certain to work.

I was excited as I entered the door the next day. The first thing that was different this time was that I heard the door lock behind me as the other door opened. Out came a 700 pound gorilla with a sign that read “If I can catch you I’m going to FUCK you!” :yikes:

It’s a hell of a good program to lose weight with.
