Alright I've been called crazy before but this just gets me to no end. lol Monday the 4th, my doggie will be two years old ( yes I keep track) and I have always thought of her as a member of the family so I try to do something a little special for her. Now don't go calling me crazy too. I don't go all out with party hats and all but, I do get her a new toy or two and fix her something I know she loves, last year she had a Burger King cheese burger ( shhhh! don't tell the vet.)
Anyway I'll get to the point now, How many of you try to at least get your pet something for their birthday? Please don't let me be the only one.

We watch the Oscars.
I think that's just a coincidence though...that was the night the kittens were born. :D

If I had a pet DG I would get them something special.
We don't do birthdays for our pets, but they all get something under the tree for Christmas. I don't think you're crazy at all... but validation from a screwball isn't exactly reliable. :p

We aren't sure when Rocky (our cat) was born...so we celebrate it from the approximate date the S.P.C.A. gave us. Happens, it's Valentine's Day. Awwwwww! Don't tell him, but the heart cards and candy aren't for him!
Like Aqua though, I do put something in his Christmas stocking. Now that he's older than dirt he doesn't care about toys, but prefers the x-mas wrap and ribbons...and he just likes pulling his stocking down and flipping it around the room. We let him have at it as long as he likes. It's the most exercise he gets all year. LOL!

Like I said, …I WAS kidding about getting a cat for the dog, but not about getting a dog for the cat. Happy, (another misnomer) was with us for 18 years and “RULED” the hood for everybody, including the neighbor’s dog. When our dog came to us, I said we could keep her only if she was as smart as our cat. ;) I had to call my daughter to ask how long we had the second cat, Tigger, who she said never got full credit because of Hap. We only had him for about 12 years. I was the only one that Happy would allow to just pick him up at any time and I always had to be the one to pop the pills down his throat with my finger when he’d get sick.
Not to worry CGT. ;) Everybody seemed to think they won the Kitty Lottery when they became a Fanatic family pet and would die of being spoiled into old age.:D

Our cat Pokey always got Christmas presents and usually we included him in other parties with some tasty treats or something. Didn't actually know his birth date.
Jasmine, our son's cat, has finally started accepting us all, so we've been including her much as we did Pokey. I swear, except for the "gender exclusive parts" she looks just like Pokey did ... except perhaps a bit more shy.
**sigh** I do miss Pokey. :(
