Are you a goal oriented type person? I am usually the type of person who flys by the seat of her pants, but lately I have been striving to set small goals for myself. Progress I hope.
Do you have any goals you are currently working on? I tend to set small goals that will lead me to a greater goal... what about you guys?
Here's one of mine:
Not very sexxxy, but I want to learn ASL ( signing) so I am learning 2 new words a day in hopes that by the time I am done with school I will have a decent vocabulary.

I'd feel totally lost w/o long- and short-term goals. I'm more the plan-ahead type of person.

I was raised in a goal oriented tradition and I think I resented having to go by set rules.....even if I was the one who set them. Therefore, I feel this is the reason I NEVER (to this day) figured out what I want to be when I grow up! It's been a "cut off my nose to spite my face" situation for me......and so NOW.......FINALLY.....I have come to grips with the fact that Mom was actually trying to help me instead of make me conform..........and so, yes............I try, again, to set goals for myself!

I have goals but they are far smaller (and yet in some ways far larger) than those above.
I've just started to admit to myself that I have been very depressed in the last 12 months or so, and my goals at the moment are:
To be brave and face up to things which I've neglected over the past 12 months.
To learn to ask for help when I need it, rather than just putting on a smile and pretending to be fine.
To do the things around the house that need doing, and stop putting things off.
To learn to love myself a little bit more than I do right now.
To start deserving Fussy's love.
Phew - I think writing that was one baby step, right there. :)
