Okay.. so I have no life.. been posting loads of jokes on the million thread. In my searches, I came across this story.. and decided it was way to good to post on the million thread since many don't read ALL the posts there.. this one shouldn't be missed..

Gotta give the guy in this story credit..

This is a true story about a recent wedding that took place at Clemson University. This was a huge wedding with over 300 guests. After the wedding at the reception, the groom got up on stage and took the microphone to talk to the crowd. He said that he wanted to thank everyone for coming, many from long distances, to support them at their wedding. He especially wanted to thank the bride's and groom's families for coming and to thank his new father-in-law for providing such a fabulous reception. To thank everyone for coming and bringing gifts and everything, he said he wanted to give everyone a special gift from just him.

Taped to the bottom of everyone's chair (even the chairs of the wedding party) was a manila envelope. He said that was his gift to everyone, and told everyone to open their envelopes.
Inside each manila envelope was an 8x10 picture of his best man having sex with the bride. (He had gotten suspicious of the two of them and hired a private detective to trail them weeks prior to the wedding.) After he stood there and watched the people's reactions for a couple of minutes, he turned to the best man and said ''F--- you !'' he then turned to the bride and said ''F--- you !'' and then he turned to the dumbfounded crowd and said..... ''Thanks, I'm out of here.''

He had the marriage annulled first thing that Monday morning. While most of us would have broken off the engagement immediately after finding out about the affair, this guy goes through with it anyway as if nothing was wrong. His revenge: 1) Making the bride's parents pay over $32,000 for a 300 guest wedding and reception. 2) Letting everyone know exactly what did happen. 3) And best of all, trashing the bride's and best man's reputations in front of all of their friends, their parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, nieces and nephews, etc.... Ya gotta love this guy.

This one may have gotten a deserved lone marquee, but buried in that silly “million” thread is a treasure of information, wisdom, wit and work that is going to make the exercise worth while no matter when it ends. If that could be bronzed, made to be walked through and set in a park, you would have a tourist attraction to rival the Grand Canyon.;)

I've seen this before and I had the same reaction then as now. I can understand the groom's wanting to let everyone know of the situation......but at the bride's parents expense.......I dunno. They didn't do anything to deserve this. I do like his ingenuity.......but I still feel for the bride's parents here.

Friend once told me....If you walk in and find your best friend and wife sleeping together and you only have one bullet in your gun...shoot the wife everytime and make sure you ask your friend how she was...cause friends are harder to come by.

I agree with Sharni.I have two T-shirts.One says"Paybacks,are a
Bitch"The other says"I don't get mad,I just get even"The second is a white lie tho.I get mad&I get even!
I also agree with Lixy! You shouldn't punish parents for the actions
of their kids. The kids have a mind of their own,no matter how they
are brought up! Irish

The parents would have paid for the wedding anyway if she hadn't cheated. The way I see it ... he saved them thousands of dollars on all the anniversary gifts they'd have bought for the couple over the years. The bride got what she deserved and the groom got justice. I only wish I could have been there to toast the groom and congratulate him.

Yes, I'm a bit evil ... I know this already. :hot:

I'd have been right there with VT toasting the groom. I'm sure that reception was taped..and I'd love to see that tape wind up on the Man Show..lol.

He was young I assume.

He will be saddened.. in the future looking back at this. It never is a good thing to disgrace anyone.

Can his love leave his fiance just by seeing these photos? no.. it was not love.. be assured.
