Do I have to do that weaving thing with the ribbons? Cause I am pretty uncoordinated and fear you might get injured:p

Lil, I'm sure you can weave them like the carnival toy, the
finger trap. The one which holds harder the more you try to
pull away.
Damn, trapped again.

I didn't but only because I can't afford the site fee for the camping event the pagan group I belong to does every year for Beltaine.
Ah, well, I can afford summer gathering, but we don't have a maypole there.

I work with a women from Northern Germany. I asked her about the May Pole celebration when she brought up the fact that she had called her mother in Germany to wish her a Happy May Day. She said, in northern Germany they don't celebrate with the May Pole and ribbons, that it was a southern German celebration. In northern Germany though, May Day is a big celebration time. Most people get out their wagons and take beer and go all over their town getting sloshed! LMAO! I knew I liked the German culture. Well, ya learn something new everyday, huh?
BTW........this woman I work with is the mother to a Cincinatti Bengal tight end (I thing he is). I'd name him but I don't want to be a name dropper. *wondering if anyone is thinking......"There she goes again, off the topic"*

I stripped naked and turned around ... that's kinda like dancing around the May pole ... isn't it? :D
I was wondering if the essence of what you were talking about Lixy is that the woman's son was a Bengal ... or that you liked his tight end? Hmmmmm.
Tight ends and hard poles ... no, I don't think that's off topic. BTW, what was the topic? :)
