Lil, When your driving somewhere on Xmas eve and the snow is falling and you see everyone's holiday lights (even those cheap plastic Noel candles) ... there is nothing like it, nothing!
It's when it snows in April that sucks.

Ahh, the first snow, truly lovely for maybe a day.... :) I'd take snow for the week of Christmas and then never again until next year, LOL. You're very right CK, somehow the snow just adds to the magic of Christmas...but when you've got the flakes and slush in Spring, all you can do is curse when you're scraping the windows before you head off to work!
Enjoyed the picture Iceman, we still don't have any here yet!! :D

OMGGGGGG!!!!!! I am getting the urge to make a nekky snow angel!
Lilith? I did so love the palm fronds decorated with blue lights and the trunk of the palm decorated with white (or vice versa....it's been a while) but there is NOTHING like snow on Christmas eve. After that.........take the snow and shove it!!!!! I'd rather be snorkeling or diving!!!!!!

I feel just the same, snow on christmas eve, melt by new years please!
However, there are few things more beautiful then freshly fallen virgin snow. Too bad it has to be cold for it to happen :(

A couple of years ago, I was living in Newfoundland. The snowfall was the most since they started recording in the 1880s! Luckily, I approached it with a grin, even on days when I was upat 5 a.m. to shovel and the city plows plowed me in again right before work and I'd have to run post-blizzard to the bus. :)
Here in Toronto we just had a bit of snow so far . . . I'd love some for Christmas!
